The Cafe Indigo Project is live in production!  This was an awesome project.  It features a beautiful design, an Ecommerce integration through goEmerchant.com, and a  Google maps integration!

The project includes a number of myCairnApps tools including mySiteSearch, myBlog, and myContacts with the new mailing list feature that integrates to myBlog.

New Client! Institute for Health Metrics

The firm's web goals include:

New Client Henry's Collision Center

The New Hampshire Web Developer is pleased to announce that Henry's Collision Center, a Manchester, NH based Body Shop has hired Cairn Applications, LLC to develop a new web site for their auto body repair business. 

Henry's, an ICAR Gold certified shop, has been doing high quality auto body repair in the Manchester area since 1927, making them one of the oldest an most experienced shops in the area.

The site will be built to the W3C's HTML 5 specification that features semantically rich structure.  It will incorporate a number of the myCairnApps tools including myBlog, mySurvey, mySiteSearch, myGallary and others.

We are thrilled to have this opportunity and look forward to serving Henry's in the years to come.

New Client: Event Nexus!

Cairn Applications has been hired by Event Nexus to build a new web site! 

Event Nexus is in the business of producing and coordinating large corporate events.  The firm is heavily involved in planning and production and will use the site for marketing purposes and as a component of their work flow. 

The new site will feature a non flash Audio Visual splash intro, and a variety of myCairnApps tools including, myBlog, myPhoto, and myContact. 

The site will also include a secure client login area, a user control interface and client customized landing page.  Another exciting feature includes a Dropbox integration that will enable the firm  to securely share files with their clients.

The New Hampshire Web Developer just built a cool interactive Training Zone Heart Rate Calculator for our client, Good Health is a Habit.  Good Health is a Habit provides health and fitness services in Concord, New Hampshire.

This new online tool calculates target training zone heart rates based on age and resting heart rate.  By creating on online tool, Good Health is a Habit hopes to provide an additional reason for customers to engage with and linger on their web site .

It was pretty easy to integrate directly into the web site and customize for consistency.  You can chose from text ads only, or rich ads or a combinitaion.  Obviously the rich ads stand are more likely to clash graphically with the site. 

The text only ads integrate better site which might make them more likely to recieve clicks from visitors.  We'll see in the months ahead.

RSS Feed Functionality Update

The RSS feed functionality on the myCairnApps platform has been updated.  Previously we were removing HTML from blog posts entirely which caused the RSS feeds to be completely without formatting, stripped images and merged paragraphs, etc.

Cairn Applications has updated the system to encode the HTML generated by the myBlog system instead of removing it.  Now your RSS audience will enjoy the same fully formated HTML experience that they get right on your blog page.

Annual Big Jane Golf tournament

The NH Web Developer would like to say a big thanks to Joe Martin and the guys at Unique Ford in Goffstown for inviting me to play with them at the annual Big Jane Golf tournament today at Stonebridge Country Club. 

The tournament was put on by Goffstown Police Explorers, an organization run by the Goffstown police departmemnt to give young people interested in law enforcement an opportunity to get some hands on experience.

Cairn Applications purchased the App Mobile ( see image below )  from Unique Ford about a year ago and they have become friends and prospective clients.

Goffstown Main Street Program Annual Golf Outing

We had a great time playing golf with Joe Martin and his crew of Unique Ford last week at the Goffstown Main Street program's annual golf outing. 

We played a scramble at Stone Bridge Country Club and ended up in the middle of the pack, finishing 7 under par.  The best of the day was 15 under!

Check Design provides infrared thermographic imagery for preventative maintenance and energy conservation for New Hampshire businesses. Infrared technology has many applications including, diagnosing the source of water leaks in flat roofs, highlight gaps in a building's thermal envelope, detecting excessive electrical loads, as well as many other uses. Cairn Applications launched CurrentCostMonitor.com, an ecommerce site with immediate success!

We did a partial launch of� CurrentCostMonitor.com early this week in order to support them as they did a trade show on Tuesday in Fort Collins Colorado. This is an ecommerce site built by Cairn Applications.� Their primary product,� a home and commercial energy monitor, enables the user to take control of their energy consumption by displaying your current and historical energy usage.� Neat product - I have one on my desk. Anyway, we put up about 10 products and plugged them into the customer's PayPal account.�� The customer went to the trade show, passed out business cards, talked to attendees and demonstrated the product.� Within 24 hours, one of the show attendees made a $1300 purchase!� What a great start!
